NCRM NICHE Inter-Disciplinary Conclave (IDC)

The NCRM NICHE Inter-Disciplinary Conclave (IDC) is a part of the NCRM NICHE event on the 23rd of October 2017, in which the FCQ Elites and a select group of Active Knowledge Gaining (AKG) delegates of the NCRM NICHE 2017 visit the Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Tokyo, Japan and serve as the Jury for selecting the best presentations by the Engineering Students working on Healthcare Applications from the SIT.

This event is unique as the crème de la crème of the scholars from Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Dentistry and Medicine from all over the world selected through a meticulous process of objective assessment through various stages of the Fujio Cup Quiz (FCQ) online preliminary rounds and the final rounds, serve as the jury to judge the potentials of engineering students working on healthcare applications in an inter-disciplinary perspective. In this process, young scholars from multi-speciality origins while serving as jury to NCRM NICHE IDC get to know the kind of basic and translational work undertaken by their contemporaries in Japan, the Japanese scholars get to be adjudged by their peers from across the world to get a feedback on their work from a global perspective.
